All Bikram Yoga classes are taught by Bikram-certified yoga instructors. Welcome to Bikram Yoga of California, where you can experience the most effective and exciting physical fitness program in California. Bikram Hatha Yoga is designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments and tendons in the order in which they should be stretched. It is a challenging 90 minute workout that improves strength, flexibility and balancing while enhancing mental clarity and focus. The practice is a sequence of 26 postures including 2 breathing exercises in a heated environment. The heat accelerates the rate of change within the body, improves circulation, helps to eliminate toxins, and significantly reduces the risk of injury during deep stretching. No special equipment props or clothing are required. About Our Heating System: Our studio room has a custom heating system that heats the room with fresh air pulled from the outside. This means that the air is not re-circulated as with other studios. Our studio also uses a HEPA air purifier to clean the air in the room along with a UVA lighting system that kills 99.8% of the airborne contaminants resulting in cleaner air and environment to practice in. A built in humidifier is used to regulate the humidity in the studio room, as well as ceiling fans to circulate the air in the room. Although the room is hot, it is never uncomfortable.

“I've created a sanctuary where busy individuals can exercise and learn how to meditate and relieve everyday stress to gain physical health, mental wellness and spiritual awareness,” says Clara Chan, Clara is a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor, Ashtanga Yoga Instructor, Rehabilitative Movement Therapist, an International Fitness Professional Association (IFPA) certified personal trainer, IFPA certified sports nutritionist, and Johnny G Mad Dog Athletics Certified Spinning Instructor. She attended San Jose State University and majored in Business Administration and Marketing.
